Thanks Arnaud,

Currently none of our tables have the "Records definitively deleted” unchecked 
- but that does not mean this attribute was not unchecked sometime in the past. 
(I am Inheriting this application…)

Interesting observation:  I took three of our currently unused tables which 
were showing the “Checking list of deleted records…” message during MSC Verify. 
 They were empty (no records).  I truncated each table and ran MSC Verify 
again.  This time “Checking list of deleted records…" did not appear.   
Obviously record headers (or sim) were left behind from a past delete.

Thanks for your suggestion.  It certainly sparked some ideas!
