I'd love to see improvements to this in 4D. But for now we use PHP to generate
SHA512. You could also look at Miyako's common crypto plugin on github.

Subject: Generate Digest - SHA2

Is anyone aware if 4D plans to update Generate Digest to support SHA2? SHA1 is
generally being depreciated, and I would like to transition to using SHA2.
Checking the latest v16 docs on the 4D website, it still only shows support for
SHA1. I was hoping v16 would add SHA2.

Thanks!
