Just getting back to this.

It appears that Facebook does not allow to request a token from a local
host.

Ok I can edit the etc/hosts file but that will work for me. How will it
work for the end user?

So it looks like I will need to host a webserver, publish the URL in a web
area in the 4D App, trap the on button click, connect to the 4D server and
get the token from there..

There must be a simpler way,,
