I am moving a database from v2003 to v12. I have (at least one) report which used the old 'Print Variable Frame' option of text variables.
It appears that this functionality become permanent when the database is upgraded. The report has 7 print variable frame text objects, all stacked as rows text1 text2 text2 etc The user want aching to the report. So I moved around these variables, turning off 'Multiline', thinking that this would deactivate the print variable frame functionality. No It appears that the only way to turn off Print variable frame is to replace the variables with new one. Posted incase it helps anyone.
