Using the Number Format in the subject of this message, I want the decimals to
align. Instead, the positive numbers are hard against the right side so the
last digit of a positive number aligns with the "-" of a negative.
Design Reference indicates that "Spaces are treated as characters in number
display formats." It seems trailing spaces are ignored.

To be honest, I want ###,##0.00 ;(###,##0.00) but I thought I'd start with a
"built in" format.

I found a 4D v6.7 disk and put the demo on a Win 2000 machine: works as desired.
iNug messages on this topic from 2007 seemed to have no solution.
A workaround is padding spaces and left horizontal alignment:
^^^^,^^0.00;(^^^,^^0.00) This works but gives unwanted space after the opening
parentheses ( 1,234.56)

Mac - Sierra, 4D15.1, yes using monospaced font.
Any ideas?
