I’m looking into the idea of setting up a mirrored server. One one hand I want to be pretty aggressive about sending log files to the mirror—probably every couple of minutes. On the other hand, I don’t want to use “New log file” and then send the log file if nothing has changed.
Has anyone done something similar? Can I safely check the size of the log file, or maybe the modification date? Just wondering if anyone has any tricks for this.
