Should have been simple - upgrade a database to my current licence version of 4D Professional (licence installed, fully working, Mac 4D v15 R5). Then create a double-clickable app: compile, build application.
But no, the Build requires that I enter the location of my copy of 4D Volume Desktop app, which I do , and then I click Build - but the dialogue says no licence installed. Two hours later, still I can’t find how to install the licence (obviously I must have managed it a while back when I bought my 4D Pro and Server licences but I guess I must be getting older and thicker or maybe the process is getting harder and harder? Or my head is cold from so much hair pulled out? I am feeling very calm now, having decided that I really must ask you folk and that the answer will be - simple! How do I do it please?
