You can define menu bars in the component in the Toolbox and use them with 
forms in the component. From the component you can OPEN WINDOW and DIALOG the 
component form and menu bar. The menu bar will function and call the methods 
attached to the menu items. All of this happens in the components context. 

Can you give more details on what you mean by "hooked into the hosts menu bar 
systems”?
