Kirk, We build installers using Install Shield, but there are no registry entries, or any type of "special" configuration we have to use. Basically, our Install Shield installer is a glorified file copy.
We use it to provide a professional look, plus it greatly helps us manage the myriad of files required for a Server installation/update.
