Ken, Sure sounds like something is intercepting this keystroke combination.
If you change the key combination assigned to the button, does the combination get intercepted? Did you put a trace bullet/command in the button script, just to see if it is getting into the button script? Can you trace to see what is happening when you press the key combination?
