Actually the latter of the 2 blog posts is an attempt to duplicate the look and feel fo 4D Write. The 30 Nov post is interesting and for me I think more intuitive.
Count me in with the “lazy”. The whole idea of a component, plug-in, library… whatever is to save me time. So I think it is great that 4D Write Pro provides the developer with the ability to create a custom interface. On the other hand,howver, I feel strongly that it should come with a built in interface or one should be provided in the future to use out of the box.
