Robert, I've been using Alertra for several years now. It monitors web servers which works for me because the only 4D installs I need to worry about have webservers plus a few others I watch. You can adjust the ping rate from a few seconds to - well I don't actually recall how long you can wait - and what you are charged varies accordingly. You can choose to be emailed or texted or both.
