Hi Steve, IIRC I've had some issues with PDF Viewer plugin when moving to 4D v17 even on older macOS than Mojave. Rob Lavaux from pluggers.nl promptly fixed them. You should contact him to get your issues solved. I personally do prefer PDF Viewer instead of picture fields or web areas (on mac).
