Hi All,
I got my report back - not too bad.
I do have a few questions which I expect someone here can answer...
1st - naming convention flags:
- methods which start with Underscore are not allowed?
2nd - obsolete commands (which are not obsolete in the version I am using),
what do I use to replace these calls?
I understand that Apple is dropping support for file meta data -- stupid IMO.
So.. these commands - just make sure the extension is what I desire?
- Document type
- Document creator
- SET DOCUMENT CREATOR
- SET DOCUMENT TYPE
What about these 2 commands?
- Mac to ISO
- PLATFORM PROPERTIES
3rd - Resources - the report lists a few (files?) that start with '.'. I do not
recognize their use?
I do have support files in the Resources folder (Konstants and maybe a picture
or two).
where would these files be?
they flagged the following:
.png
.txt
.xlf
4th - Unsupported images
Static pictures (PICTs) which I did not realize I was using....
Is there a simple way to find them? there were 91 flagged.....
Lastly a tip -
remove any spaces from your method or variable names.
All of my comment only module info methods have a space to get them to 'float'
to the top of their respective "module". Every one was fllagged.
ex: textutl Module_Info
