Chip,

Perhaps if the naming isn’t case-sensitive, 4D isn’t picking up the change and 
is thinking that you haven’t made it. 

Try renaming to “fred”, switching to a different tab and back, and then 
re-renaming to the new capitalised version.

Just a thought.
