This is a note with some info in case it helps someone in the future.
This message showed up today on my Windows 10 machine, running 4D v17.2hf1
Remote mode, interpreted.
Windows is running under Parallels 14.1.3, macOS is 10.14.6.
"The specified module could not be found"
It came up when calling: *TobitProXL_License*
Then a different error message when calling *OT Register*
All other plugins loaded normally.
The same thing happened in the a compiled and built application running on
the same network.
I tried clearing local resources, removing 4D preferences, running a
separate copy of 4D.
Running 4D Remote on the server machine running the database worked
properly.
Same code base running single user on my Windows 10 machine worked properly.
Solution was to reboot Windows.
There were no pending updates to be completed on reboot.
The only thing I spotted that changed since yesterday was a pair of Windows
Defender updates.
