tim sent me his library, so maybe ask him, too. he does not want it in the
public domain, yet.
however, in the meantime, i discovered that we seem to have our own attempt
at a library, but i don't think we've tested it (at least i don't see any
notes about that).
please test and let me know if this actually works (or if you fix it,
please issue a PR)
