4D server V18.3 running on a mac…. I want to replace the server machine with a new mac….
The last time I did this, I ran into problems with the 4D server license…. Apparently when I install the server software online, the 4D group, links the machine I’m installing on to the 4D license… ( guessing serial number or machine address ? ) so….I was only allowed to install ( run ) the server software on the machine that was registered with 4D… It seems like it took me about 5 hours and several phone calls to finally get this resolved….. Does anyone have a work around for this issue, or has it changed with the current version of 4D?
