For DSSIs there seems to be no jitter on my machine, perhaps I only need 
to solve the trouble with jitter for ext equipment.

This also seems too be an answer to my thoughts about why there wasn't 
such a problem for the C64 (at 64 Studio users list only). Buffering 
more than one MIDI event seems to be an bad idea. The UART (ACIA) should 
be read and written, if the register flag signal to be ready, byte by 
byte, without buffering several events.
