I don't know if it's possible to install a small version of 64 Studio by using the Live CD.
Ralf is right, we didn't intend the live CD to be used for installing the distro.
I would suggest to download 64 Studio 2.1 and burn the install DVD.
That's a good suggestion - If you don't currently have a DVD writer, I would recommend upgrading to one. They are very cheap now.
