Hi :)

what kind of wave samples? If you e.g. have Soundfonts '.sf2' you can
use the Fluidsynth-DSSI included in Rosegarden, because I'm short in
time, I can't explain how to do this, you have to google yourself or
instead of a DSSI plugin use Qsynth, you can run Qsynth by the Gnome
menu. In Jack you will see the alias name fluidsynth. If you have .gig
files you can use Qsampler, that also can be started by the Gnome menu.
The client alias for this is linuxsampler.
If you have .wav files, google for 'simple sampler' or something like
that, I don't know the name. Sorry, I have to eat now, I was interrupted
because I did a Windows support for the neighbour women by phone :( and
than I saw your mail.

Please give more information about the files you will use, .wav aren't a
good choice. You should google or search torrents for .sf2 and .gig,
ther is a lot free stuff in the web.

HTH,
Ralf
