< Hi all,

I got these messages with 2.6.26-RT and iceweasel 3.0.5

Cheers

Hi,

I am on 2.6.26-RT with Firefox 3.05 (3.0 alpha install). x2 different computers.

You must be on 2.1 dist-upgraded to 3.0 alpha?

If you try removing Iceweasel as Ralf suggests does it want to take any 64studio packages with it?
I don't have 64studio-skel installed. It's not in the 3.0 alpha install.
If the dist-upgrade removed your 64studio-skel then you could try the Firefox fix first.
I hope it fixes the problem. It means it's not kernel/hardware related.

My original post = I am *also* finding with searches that I'm reading reports regarding etc., etc.,

The 2.6.26, RT kernel, ram, memory, Hypertreading & firefox were mentioned in many of the reports I read. It would be great news if the firefox fix eliminated kernel/hardware issues from the problem.

It would also be interesting to know if a clean 3.0 alpha "install" gave any errors on your machine.

Cheers!
dave.
