Hello All I have installed 3.0 beta2 without problem. I have done a quick test of its audio performance comparing it with 64Studio 2.1 with a 2.6.21 kernel on the same machine.
I ran an ardour project with 26 channels of playback and 8 channels of record at 96.1khz, 256 frames and 2 periods/buffer. The loading as indicated by jack control was 9.8% on 64Studio 3.0 beta 2 and 17% on 64Studio 2.1. Both tests gave a single xrun A good result. I do need the compiler to work however.
