Hi Fred :) there's no need for an additional script. Because 64 Studio has got it's own repository with packages that aren't on the install media. You only need to disable all repositories, but the 64 Studio stable or testing or in this case beta repository. Using a package management like synaptic, you can search for catchwords and easily install what you need and if you want to, only versions from selected repositories, like the 64 Studio repository or repositories. Sometimes the packages called "64 Studio" or something like that, can be disadvantages. Packages for special settings only should be used if they really, really add up, otherwise they could cause unnecessary dependency conflicts. Even useful packages, like the "64 Studio setting packages" can be a pain in the neck.
