Hi Michael :)

Yes and my monitor also was and is defect ;) while my old mobo wasn't
'defect' with a NVIDIA graphics for Suse, it was 'defect' for 64 Studio
;). My new mobo with an ATI isn't fine neither with Suse, nor with 64
Studio. Today I also have a Windows install and there the monitor is
fine, resp. to be honest, my monitor really has a defect, but anyhow I
can set frequencies for Windows and I could set frequencies, when using
Suse 10.x, but 64 Studio 2.x and Suse 11.x aren't able to set the
frequencies. I also noted that the resolution often couldn't set higher
than 1024x768, but this is okay for me, because I prefer this
resolution. This isn't a problem caused by the monitors.

Cheers,
Ralf
