You are so right on this.
I have watched many flames regarding  what to record at.

I can say with conviction that Ardour running on 64studio 'sounds' better
than Sonar on windows on the same hardware!
So there are other factors at play as well.

I am getting really good results with the DDX/RME/64studio.

In the end it's how hard you work in the production from start to finish.

Soon as it's all done I'll post some stuff and let you all judge the results
( if you like blues guitar you should be ok :) )
