Hi :)

I didn't know that Gnash is good enough to watch YouTube, but it is and
it's installed by default.
When I yesterday tried to install the latest version of
flashplugin-nonfree, I first wanted to install the plugin and after that
I planed to set YouTube on the Flashblock whitelist. Today I first set
YouTube on the Flashblock whitelist and planed than trying to install
the tar.gz version instead of the .deb version, before I even downloaded
the tar.gz of flashplayer from the Adobe site, I tested gnash.

I didn't go on with trying to install the proprietary flashplayer, I
first will use gnash only, to see if there still is the need to use the
nonfree version.

Did anybody know something were Gnash won't work? In the past I often
read about troubles with Gnash, so I always used the Macromedia/Adobe
player.

Cheers,
Ralf
