If I keep the JACK2 package, because removing it will brake dependencies and a lot of other stuff will be removed too, can I simply compile and 'make install' JACK2 over the installed files, to get the headers. I don't think 'checkinstall' will work, but I'll try it.
Should I remove actual JACK2 files by 'rm' manually before compiling? Did anybody know if there's the need to '--prefix' anything and become libjack.so links broken when using a self compiled JACK2?
