That would be one way to do it, although a fix in a particular package tends to help all distros that use it, including our commercial projects. The main problem at the moment isn't a lack of helpers, it's finding a way that a wider group of people can contribute to actual fixes in our package repositories. We're not the only distro that has this problem. PDK is potentially the solution, but so far it's been implemented in a centralised way. Robin suggested making a pdk group on the 64studio.com server so that trusted developers could have an ssh account which was a member of that group. Therefore fixes could be committed by perhaps half a dozen people initially, potentially with rollbacks on a per-user basis when something goes wrong. Cheers!
