Milestone: 3.0
    Description
Firefox has default search plugins which may not be appropriate. I
suggest we remove Google, Amazon, eBay and Yahoo, and add a plugin
for a search engine without political censorship such as Clusty.
There are also other potentially useful search plugins available,
    such as del.icio.us and more.

There's another issue for default search engines. Even if Google will be
removed, take a look at search engines, if they do behave similar to
Google's engine.

The Firefox version for the Google search engine only takes care to the
language on top of Firefox's 'Edit > Preferences > Content > Languages',
while the standard Google takes care to this setting too, but on demand
you can use the link to the international version of Google. This is
good, because people can search in their native language and with one
click they can change to the English search, that's needed for the
forums and mailing lists.

If you should keep Google you should change the Firfox one by the
standard one and add the Linux one. Just make some tests using Clusty,
even if you are only looking for links on English, most of the times
Google does a better job.
