thanks, Ralf. The clue was hidden in your second link [2]: Just ignore
the "no kernel modules found" warning and continue. The installation
works, nevertheless.

Well. Maybe I should have mentioned that that's what I had been doing
before I decided to annoy the list. Guess, I just used the wrong keywords.
