Hi,
I am fairly new to both Linux and 64sudio but am starting to use it
regularly. Excellent suite! Linux Sampler seems to have a delay between
note press and sound of (maybe) 300-400 ms. I normally run Rosegarden,
Jack, Aeolus and LS together along with some outboard midi gear and there
is a noticeable delay when layering (particularly) percussive instruments
in LS with the midi gear. I'm not all that familiar with Linux but managed
to run top and it is clear that mem, CPU are not pushed. (this is a 3.3
GHz CPU with 1.5GB mem). I also looked at adjusting process priorities but
decided it is unlikely to help when CPU is so idle anyway. Can anyone give
me a hint as to where to look for the cause of delay?
