I believe that camera has no FireWire socket, so I'm not sure if it would be possible to capture in real time. I would suggest you try mounting the USB device on the camera to see if it can act as a generic mass storage device. Alternatively you could try ripping the video file directly from the recordable DVD media, using something like Avidemux. Cheers!
