Hi Gustin,

It was still required with 2.6.29, where having the wrong options made a
very significant difference to jackd xrun performance - let's see about
2.6.31.

This particular change was made to the 64 Studio package experimentally,
in advance of the next release. The proper fix would be a postinst
script which queries lspci for the specific variant of Intel HDA chip in
the hardware, and inserts the appropriate options in that
/etc/modprobe.d/hda-intel file.

Cheers!

Daniel
