Quite good interface, but the problems with mplayer I described in my
last mail remains. Additionally I have problems with the volume
preferences: If I lower the volume, it will be pushed up the next
song... Maybe I've got to build a newer mplayer version by my own - I
have to rebuild it anyway, because I need a zoran video-out.

Thanks, Daniel, for mentioning aqualung! Great player! Plays all of my
audio-formats (mp3, flac, ogg) without any problem, the jack connection
seems to be stable and - at last - there is an audio-player that uses
logarithmic volume-settings instead of linear! Looks like a dream have
come true... :)

I would recommend it for integration in 64studio! The only audio-player
(in the meaning of: can play a playlist of several tracks) installed by
default is "totem". But "totem" doesn't support jack. Maybe it will some
day via pulse-audio, but pulse is something I don't want to use on a
multimedia-workstation (just like other sound-daemons like esd, arts and
such which are made for "desktop" or "every-day-users" purposes).

I guess, I'll open a ticket, now!

Greetings!
Mitsch
