Hi all :)
any ideas?
spinymouse-s...@64studio:/etc/X11$ sudo cp -p xorg.conf_radeon xorg.conf
spinymouse-s...@64studio:/etc/X11$ sudo gedit xorg.conf
Driver changed to "nv".
Reset > Blabla "Continue"
spinymouse-s...@64studio:/etc/X11$ cat xorg.conf | grep nv
Driver "nv"
spinymouse-s...@64studio:/etc/X11$ diff xorg.conf xorg.conf_radeon

Unfortunately only 800 x 600 and 640 x 480 always at 61 KHz are
available. 1152 x 864 and something around 90 KHz aren't available any more.
Then I changed xorg.conf for

The card should be a GAINWARD 7200GS PCX - GEFORCE 256 MB.
Shut Down
Serial number and informations on the card confirm that it's a GAINWARD
7200GS PCX - GEFORCE 256 MB and not a GeForce 7300 SE.
There were still blabla messages, so I need to click continue and
resolution and frequency are still bad.
Hm, I need to buy something to eat now. Try to search the web later,
perhaps I first try to use Suse and/ or Karmic.
Any hints are welcome,
Ralf
