While Campcaster might be the better app for broadcasting, Banshee still could do this job too. A developer could add a GUI/user interface for non-technical users, to provide a 'timer' option, e.g. by using cron jobs. Btw. whats about 'amateur' video capture by USB, 30,- to 100,- EUR for some needs? I wonder if a 1k,- EUR card for video capture might be comparable with an Envy24 elCheapo for audio?!
