Dear authors: I understand that the draft aims at getting only addresses, but it seems to me that most of what's needed to get a prefix is already in the draft. Could you have a bit in the request that says "I want a prefix" and indicate the desired length in the status / prefix field?
The prefix length that is returned is a bit of an overlap with the status. Since you have a lot of reserved room I'd suggest that the prefix length that is returned is placed near the flags. If you agree with the point above (capability to ask for a prefix) then the returned prefix length could the the one asked, or longer if that much is not available. Works?
