Please find below the main pointers to the last revision of the draft titled "Transmission of SCHC-compressed packets over IEEE 802.15.4 networks" (a.k.a. the "SCHC-Lo draft"). The main updates are as follows: - We aligned the terminology with the one in the last revision of the SCHC architecture draft (-06). - We moved Appendix C to the main body of the document, as it is normative. - We updated the PRO Header format, after comments by Omar Merroun. - We fixed a few issues with figures including too long lines. One of the SCHC components is a header compression mechanism. If used properly, SCHC header compression allows a greater compression ratio than that achievable with traditional 6LoWPAN header compression [RFC6282]. For this reason, it may make sense to use SCHC header compression in some 6LoWPAN environments, including IEEE 802.15.4 networks. This document specifies how a SCHC-compressed packet can be carried over IEEE 802.15.4 networks. The document also enables the transmission of SCHC-compressed UDP/ CoAP headers over 6LoWPAN-compressed IPv6 packets.
