Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the 16ng ND optimization excerpts. The 16ng IPv6-ND and 6lowpan ND
draft share the same idea in this respect. In addition to increasing the router
advertisement interval, it also proposes a choice to avoid periodic RA
alltogether
by using periodic soliciation technique. That way, periodic RA will not wake up
 all the nodes in the 6lowpan.

I see the default value for 802.16 network is about 18min for periodic RAs.
