In HC-07, the compression of UDP port are: P: 00: 16 Source port + 16 Destination port 01: 16 Source port + 8 Destination port 10: 8 Source port + 16 Destination port 11:4+4 If both source and destination ports can be compressed to 8 bits , but the P field must be set 01 or 10? why not separate the source port from destination port encoding like : 011 C S D Then it can carry the ports for both 8bits.
