Hello All: As part of our follow-up AI from the informal discussions on security/bootstrapping(@IETF92), a new non-WG discussion alias has been created. Please sign-up and start having a discussion with a goal of finding one/more solutions for 6lo-type nodes bootstrapping/network-access/join/leave etc.
We defined the scope/purpose[ see below] based on the summary of discussions, WG mailing list and individual inputs. Let's have some discussions/comments on '6band' mailing list. Thanks, -Samita -----Original Message----- From: IETF Secretariat [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, June 09, 2015 12:59 PM To: IETF Announcement List Cc: [email protected]; Samita Chakrabarti; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: New Non-WG Mailing List: 6band -- 6lo Bootstrapping, Access for Networked Devices A new IETF non-working group email list has been created. List address: [email protected] Archive: http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/6band/ To subscribe: https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/6band Purpose: The scope of this mailing list is mainly to address threat analysis of 6lo networks, secure bootstrapping and evaluating solutions for constrained node devices in constrained-L2-access technology networks. The problem scope is limited to secure network access/bootstrapping of the 6lo nodes. This interest group may also discuss interfaces between network layer and Application layer for sharing security association. The scope of this work does not include Application level security work . The goal is to identify existing candidate technologies or needs for new development of bootstrapping mechanisms. For additional information, please contact the list administrators. _______________________________________________ 6tisch mailing list [email protected] https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/6tisch
