Dear all,

Please, let me get your attention on the following updated details with
regarding to the 6lo Plugtests to be held in Yokohama from 6th to 8th November:

- After receiving some questions about the scope of the Plugtests, I
would like to clarify that IEEE 802.15.4 is part of the Plugtests scope. We
have updated the Plugtests website
(http://www.etsi.org/news-events/events/1003-6lo-plugtests) accordingly.

- Regarding the registration deadline, we have had to change the
deadline to 9th October due to some logistic details that need to be prepared
in advance as the event will be in Japan. So, please, take into account the new
date if you're considering your participation.

Should you have any other question, please, do not hesitate to contact us.

Please, do not hesitate to forward this email to other colleagues.

Best regards.

Subject: Invitation to the 1st 6lo PlugtestsTM event, 6-8 November 2015, in
Yokohama, Japan

Dear Madam,
Dear Sir,

ETSI's Centre for Testing and Interoperability (CTI) is organizing the 1st 6lo
(IPv6 over Networks of Resource-constrained Nodes) Plugtests(tm) event. This
event will be held from 6 to 8 November 2015 in Yokohama, Japan, with the
support of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) 6lo Working Group,
co-located with the 94th IETF meeting (1 to 6 November 2015).

This Plugtests(tm) event will focus on assessing the interoperability of
different implementations based on the 6LoWPAN specifications RFC4944, RFC6282
and RFC6775 adapted to:
- Constrained wired networks (draft-ietf-6lo-6lobac-02)
- DECT Ultra Low Energy air interface (draft-ietf-6lo-dect-ule-02)
- Bluetooth low energy air interface* (draft-ietf-6lo-btle-17)
- Near Field Communication* (NFC) radio interface* (draft-ietf-6lo-nfc-01)

(* if number of implementations permits)

The testing campaign will be based on the test cases developed by ETSI in
collaboration with IETF 6lo WG members and will focus on the interoperability
of these different technologies.

It will give a unique opportunity to participating 6lo vendors to test their
product against different implementations.

Vendors participating in this event will also benefit from a great deal of
communication and marketing.

The event is free of charge and is open to both ETSI members and non-members.

All information related to this event along with registration details may be
found at the following address:
