Dear All,

Is there any way to support hybrid MAC wherein TSCH and non-TSCH modes
co-exist within a 6TiSCH network ? The motivation for this comes from
the following papers that I came across, where Hybrid MAC over
traditional TDMA or CSMA MAC such as Z-MAC [1], ER-MAC [2], EZMAC [3],
QZMAC [3] has been proposed.

IEEE Std 802.15.4-2015 defines various MLME primitives which allow you
to ON and OFF TSCH mode using MLME-TSCH-MODE request. Is there a way we
can manage Hybrid MAC using these MLME primitives within 6TiSCH
framework ?

Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Suman Panchal
