Saw the slashdot post, didn't notice scubacuda :(.  I currently use a
usb cable with my Sprint PCS cell phone to get data rates of between
128 kbps and 256 kbps.  Here's a link to how to do it with my cell
phone, should work with almost any sprint phone with a usb cable.
