In your previous email it said that your kernel line was as follows:

kernel /kernel-2.4.26-gentoo-r6 root-/dev/ram0 init=/linuxrc ramdisk
8192 real_root=/dev/hda4


You need to change "root-/dev/ram0" to "root=/dev/ram0"

that should take care of the error.
