Most cards should work with the 2.6 kernel. Before I purchase new
uncertain hardware though, I usually do a search to find out what
chipset it uses, and whether that chipset is supported in linux. My
card, a intel 2200 bg works great with the ipw2200 drivers from
ipw2200.sf.net. But I have also gotten several orinoco, cisco, and abg
cards to work as well. YMMV, but if you have a card model. Send it
over and I'll help verify that it works.
