Well, sounds like the kernel wasn't compiled with that module... If it was a firmware issue (does this card need firmware?) the error would be different.

And when I run "sudo /sbin/modprobe e100", I get "FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.17.13/modules.dep: No such file or directory" Any ideas?
