One thing I'd really like to do is make our events "full contact" (i.e. very participatory).

Ideas for this might include:

--install fests (get new blood)
--show and tell (come to the meeting to share new ideas)
--new technology demo (from vendors)
--little meetings where we shadow sessions (and use Skype and/or FreeConferenceCall.com)

I like the idea of making some "overview" of the session afterwards available on the website (this would of course require some sort of secretary to take notes, which I'd volunteer to do). Perhaps we could even mark down some of the various answers to questions.

Coming at this from a "sales engineer" perspective (which I acted in while at Titan), we could very well soon find ourselves bombarded with vendor requests to present at (and even sponsor) our various events. David and I kicked around the idea of having the eracks.com guys present to us how they prep'd their *nix boxen. What better audience than us?
