My office has declared that they would contribute $20 towards Aaron keeping the
vanity plate.... maybe that might keep your justification going for at least
another year.

Linux fans,
It is with great sorrow that I announce the fact that I have given up
my license plate, "[HEART]slinux". I know, I know, what kinda linux fan
would do that? The seven random letters and numbers on it now just don't
mean the same thing!
It was always interesting to see how many people would stop me and ask,
"hey what's 'lie-nix'"?!

It can take up to a year for the plates to become available to someone
else according to the DMV web site.

For what it's worth. I would have never met Aaron except that I saw him
driving away from LLU with the "[HEART]sLINUX" plate on his truck.

So, I guess I was one of those freaky dudes that pulled up and gave you
funny looks when you were just driving around.

:)

OK. I keep posting things that are offtopic re: Linux. Well, here's
another one. :)

I actually remember using Windows/386. Probably circa 1987 or 1988?
Windows 3.0 was released in May of 1990, so it was a few years before
that. I don't, however, remember it doing anything they depict it doing in
this video.

Heheh, well, I was one of the users of Desqview 386... THAT was a trip.
DOS multitasking... mmmmm... I miss the good old days of OS/2 though.
